A PERFECT MATCH

When our close friend Mary-Louise Parker introduced us to Mandy Moore to collaborate on a bag design, we were beyond thrilled. We’re long-time fans of Mandy, especially with her latest role in the hit TV show, This is Us, a series that highlights themes of adoption and complex family dynamics, both issues that are close to our hearts here at Parker Clay.

INSPIRED BY MOTHERS

The Mimi Shoulder Bag is inspired by Mandy’s mother Stacey, who affectionately gave me the nickname “Mimi” as a child. Many credits her mother with encouraging her to use her platform as an artist to lend a voice to beautiful and empowering stories. 

The blue suede bag is a contemporary update of a classic Italian shoulder slouch bag, featuring a chic tassel.

The Mimi Shoulder Bag is the second of three new bags we are releasing this spring in collaboration with some of our favorite celebrity ladies, all centered around honoring our mothers and the women in our lives who inspire us.
