At Parker Clay, closing our doors and making any layoffs for our team in Ethiopia wasn't even an option. You see, our team in Ethiopia isn't a contracted or outsourced source of labor for us, they are OUR employees. Fully employed by Parker Clay.
We're proud to share that we've not only maintained our capacity pre-Global Pandemic for our team in Ethiopia, but we've also expanded it. Yep, that's right, because of you our factory has just expanded allowing us to nearly double in size.
What does this mean? It means more impact. It means more lives will be changed. It means we're one step closer to seeing exploitation ended.
