Dear Parker Clay Community,
It is beyond difficult to express in words how deeply our hearts are grieving as the events of the past week have unfolded. As a company that has always been rooted in the inherent value of people, we are broken by the horrific acts of racism and injustice that have taken place in the United States recently and for centuries before us. We all deserve to be free, feel safe, and valued.
This morning we sat around a virtual table as a team, represented by our US and Ethiopia leadership, and shared our hearts together; we shed tears and made apologies and shared our points of view without judgement. In a way, it felt like a small step forward. We believe that there is incredible power when we speak our stories aloud and are listened to, really listened to.
And so now we want to extend that to you, our community that has supported and been there for us in countless ways. We want to listen. How are you actually doing? How are you and your loved ones affected by the events of this past week? What organizations or businesses are you supporting that we can use our platform to elevate?
If you are willing to share, please send us an email at info@parkerclay.com - we would love to hear your voice and in the days ahead, take even more action in building a better tomorrow, together.
We Go Together.
